The Saint Joseph Society, has a long rich history of nearly one hundred years! Starting from her humble beginnings during the early period of the twentieth century. Today, that legacy has been passed down from generation to generation. The St. Joseph Society originated from an all once Italian congregation of the faithful to serve the parish of St. Joseph Church and the people of Lodi herself. At each step along the way the St. Joseph Society was there to form what was to become our present day parish. By their dedication and self sacrifice our first Church was built brick by brick. St. Joseph parish has always been about culture, traditions and family. Thanks to the St. Joseph Society we have a renowned " Feast of St. Joseph " that celebrates her 98 th year in 2012: during the Labor day weekend. In addition the "Table of St. Joseph" and the annual giving of blessed " St. Joseph bread "just to name a few. Her members also perform various works of charity throughout the calendar year. All men are encouraged to join. The St. Joseph Society meets once a month at St.Joseph Hall, see lower Rectory.
